No Tab Twice - Duplicate D uses open tab URLs locally for duplicate detection. It does not sell, share, or transmit personal data.
No Tab Twice - Duplicate D does not request Chrome history and does not store a browsing history. It reads open tab URLs locally through Chrome's tabs permission so it can detect duplicate tabs. It does not collect page content, credentials, location, health information, financial information, or personal communications.
The extension compares open tab URLs locally in Chrome so it can focus an existing matching tab and close duplicate tabs when requested. URLs are not sent to any server.
Duplicate detection settings, the selected popup theme, and allowed duplicate URL patterns are stored locally in Chrome extension storage.
Chrome may show the warning "Read your browsing history" for this extension. That warning appears because the tabs permission lets the extension read the URLs of open tabs, and Chrome treats open tab URLs as browsing-history-sensitive.
No Tab Twice - Duplicate D does not request the history permission and does not use chrome.history. The tabs permission is needed to compare open tab URLs, switch to an existing matching tab, and close duplicate tabs. URL comparison happens locally in Chrome. URLs are not sent to a server.
